I had often looked for more fiction by Dean Anderson, but never found any. To meditate at one's leisure on scenarios of humiliation and torture.
To imagine the apparatus and what form it should take.
The GIMP scenes described in this book were well written and breath-takingly erotic.
The fact that the 'horse' and the 'rack' were so prominently used in the novel didn't hurt as anyone who has perused my work knows my love of both of these torments (though the rack was a 'late period' addition to my work and is seen less often).
(Rather than staining another Spanish Horse oak or mahogany, I would suggest colours that suggest dried blood and piss, and maybe other bodily excretions! To write the scene in which your naked, defenceless body is abused and tortured, all the time imagining the actual experience.
To film such a scene, surrounded by a crew (and bystanders) actually witnessing your distress, enjoying your naked, helpless body. More recent Cortez stories can be found on the above rppstories site.
Thus all horrors inflicted on the women lack the impact of 'Torture Tomb' and the best of the men's magazines.
Although I have found it reposted with other's claiming credit.
Torture Tomb reminded me of the best interior fiction from the Men's magazines ('World of Men', 'Man's Action') etc that were widely published in the sixties and seventies.
The thing that made that fiction so exciting was captured effectively in 'Torture Tomb'.
The tone of the writing sympathized with the women being tortured and favored their viewpoint.
Most web based fan fiction makes the mistake of being from the tormentor's viewpoint.
